SACRED HEART INDIANS AT ST. PAUL CARDINALS

NOTES:
Sacred Heart (6-2, 1-0) travels from Hallettsville to Shiner’s Comanche Stadium play Lavaca County rival St. Paul (1-7, 1-0) with the outright district lead on the line.
St. Paul has won five straight over Sacred Heart, but Sacred Heart has won 18 of the last 27 games between the teams.
Both teams had a bye last week.
St. Paul opened district with a win over Temple Central Texas Christian, and Sacred Heart defeated San Antonio St. Gerard.
St. Paul’s Joseph Natal won the private school Built Ford Tough Texas High School Football Player of the Week Award for his performance against Central Texas Christian. Natal has rushed for 939 yards and 10 touchdowns.
