Legacy Christian (8-2) had a bye.
St. Paul is the defending Division III state champion and defeated Legacy Christian 56-20 in last year's semifinals.
St. Paul has won five straight games.
Legacy Christian has won five of its last six games.
Legacy Christian's Tavian Mayfield has passed for 1,596 yards and 19 touchdowns and rushed for 562 yards and nine touchdowns.
St. Paul's Conor Kresta has rushed for 1,103 yards and 18 touchdowns, and Austin Barton has rushed for 1,017 yards and 10 touchdowns and passed for 704 yards and nine touchdowns.
The winner will advance to the semifinal against the winner of Friday's game between Bryan Brazos Christian and The Woodlands Legacy Prep.
