St. Paul senior running back Joseph Natal was named the private school Built Ford Tough Texas High School Football Player of the Week for Week 8.
Natal led the Cardinals to their first season and district victory on October 19th at Temple Central Texas Christian by rushing for 278 yards on 27 carries and scoring all five of the St. Paul touchdowns.
Natal has received All-District football awards during his time at St. Paul; he is a multisport athlete who competes in football, basketball, baseball, and track and field.
Natal and the Cardinals had last week off and will host rival Hallettsville Sacred Heart tomorrow in St. Paul’s final home game of the season.
Next week, St. Paul will play the regular-season finale Thursday at San Antonio St. Gerard.
