A 13-yard touchdown run by Conor Kresta with less than a minute left in the game capped a St. Paul rally of 20 points for a 20-14 win at Austin Brentwood Christian on Friday ( September 29, 2017 ) to open district.

ABC took a 7-0 lead seven minutes into the game on a 68-yard run by quarterback Blake Benton. He doubled the Bears lead with a 21-yard touchdown pass to Phillip Mach with 2:10 left in the first half.

Kresta had a 5-yard run with 8:28 remaining in the third quarter to get the Cardinals within 14-6 after the point after missed.

Kresta had a 21-yard run and the Cardinals failed to get the two-point conversion, down 14-12 with 5:21 to go in the third.

River Haynes hit Joseph Natal for the two-point conversion after Kresta’s game-winning touchdown with 46 seconds left in the game.
