The St. Paul Lady Cardinals won the TAPPS 2A state golf championship last week, ( Wednesday, April 19, 2017 ).

The Lady Cardinals scored 420 on day one and carded 428 on day two for a total of 848.

Sarah Peters placed sixth overall with a 98 and 100; Ashley Wachsmuth was eighth place with a 109 and 101. Sydney Grabarkievtz had a 110 and 109; Maddie Stamport scored a 103 and 120, and Sadie Thibodeaux registered a 112 and 118.

Plainview Christian Academy came in second with a team score of 878.

The St. Paul boys came in sixth place with a 430 and 423 for a total of 853.
