  AUSTIN — Shiner St. Paul (4-0, 1-0) was held scoreless in the first half before scoring 20 unanswered points
  in the second to beat the Brentwood Christian Bears 20-14 in the Cardinals’ district opener
  ( last Friday, September 29, 2017 ).
  
  Down 14-0, the Cardinals scored twice in the third, then a final time in the fourth to get the 20-14 victory.
  
  Leading the way was Conor Kresta who rushed 33 times for 227 yards and three touchdowns. Joseph
  Natal ran 12 times for 59 yards.
  
  The Cardinals totaled 12 penalties for 90 yards while the Bears had six penalties for 63 yards.
  
  Shiner St. Paul will host Geneva Boerne on Friday ( October 6, 2017 ) with kickoff set for 7:30 p.m.
  Geneva Boerne (4-0, 0-0) are coming off a bye.
